Portrait of a Lady (Mrs Mary Sandys), 1873. Frederick Sandys. This is a study for the painting of the artist's mother, Mary Ann Brown (1809-83), in the Fitzwilliam Museum, Cambridge (c. 1849). She married Anthony Sandys on the 22 December 1828.
