ALBANY, -- Sam Spitzberg, left, from the New York State Division of Veterans Affairs, and his son Jack, greet WWII veteran Bob Shindler during sendoff ceremonies at Albany International Airport for the May 18 Honor Flight visit to Washington DC. The trip, coordinated, funded and arranged by the Leatherstocking and North Country Chapters of Honor Flight, flies veterans down to DC to visit the WWII and Korean War Memorials.
