Entrance door of Palazzo Ferrero de Gubernatis Ventimiglia (18th century), historic palace overlooking the narrow alley (called "budello") of Alassio


The main street of Alassio, called "budello", is sometimes interrupted by elegant squares overlooked by some of the most important historical buildings, such as Palazzo Ferrero de Gubernatis Ventimiglia, dating back to the eighteenth century. According to historical sources here stayed Napoleon Bonaparte during the French occupation at the end of the eighteenth century.
