Roy Campos, 30th Civil Engineer Squadron readiness division chief on Vandenberg Space Force Base, Calif., March 31, 2022. Campos directed immediate action that moved his team into defensive fighting positions to maintain perimeter security for over eight hours, and directed 22 emergency responses with one of them being outside the controlled perimeter while exposed to enemy forces.
