Kids running the children's 'correfoc' ( fire-running) at Barcelona's annual Mercè festivities. The 'correfoc' involves people dressing as demons, dragons, devils or other mythological charcters from the underworld. These characters run about spraying sparks from fireworks - participants have to get as close to the spark emitting demons as possible all the while protecting themselves from the showers of sparks that do result in a considerable number of burns every year.
