Edward VI, King of England and Ireland. Crowned on 20 February at the age of nine, he was the son of Henry VIII and Jane Seymour, Edward was the third monarch of the Tudor dynasty and England's first monarch raised as a Protestant. In February 1553, At 15, Edward fell terminally ill and died 1553.
