PALAWAN, Philippines (August 09, 2018) Builder Construction Apprentice Tristain Hieb, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5, measures the length of a piece of lumber to ensure he has the right measurement prior to cutting out studs for formwork. NMCB 5 is forward deployed to execute construction, humanitarian and foreign assistance, and theater security cooperation support of United States Pacific Command.
