A model 1881 shashqa for dragoon officers, with a superimposed Order of St. Anne for bravery Nickel-plated single-edged blade with fullers and a double-edged point. Both sides decorated with floral and trophy etchings. The obverse side displays the Russian double-headed eagle with St. George in the centre. The manufacturer's mark, " Bleckmann Solingen" is etched on the ricasso and the back of the blade, and "Eisenhauer Schlagfrei" on the reverse side.
