Matthew Pitman, an unmanned vehicle operator with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 166 (Reinforced), 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), teaches a class on preflight procedures aboard the San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock USS Anchorage (LPD 23), Sept. 30, 2018. Anchorage and embarked 13th MEU are deployed to the 6th Fleet area of operations as a crisis response force in support of regional partners as well as to promote national security interests in Europe and Africa.
