Barramundi cod. Juvenile barramundi cod (Chromileptes altivelis) over a coral reef. This fish is found throughout the Indo-Pacific region. The juveniles inhabit shallow waters and may be seen in rock pools at low tide. The barramundi cod feeds on small fish and crustaceans. It may grow to a length of 40 centimetres.
