The flowers, which have several rows of pure white sepals, are two to three inches across, and have the advantage of lasting much longer than the single varieties. A grand aquisition. 30 els. each. PHLOX DIVARICATA. A Blue Phlox is something quite rare but this species which is almost unknown among flower lovers is a most beautiful azure blue. It grows fifteen inches high with a spreading panicle of good sized flowers. It blooms in April long be- fore the tall garden species. We consider it one of the finest gard<n plants we have ever grown and heartily recommend it. An excellent illus- tration and description of it was given in a recent number of "Garden and Forest". It succeeds in partial shade or full sun and should be in a rich place. 30 els.
