A flintlock key, Flemish or French, circa 1730 Iron key with quatrefoil bow. The hollow shank with girdle-shaped socket and sturdy bit. With a delicate flintlock attached to the side, the housing with fine tendril engraving and with one grotesque head. External hammer spring with simple trigger. The frizzen spring is missing, one defent of the cock is defective. Length cm. Extremely rare, original exemplar.
