The image shows the Bois de Tailly on Hill Beauclair in the middle distance, with the Foret de Dieulet just beyond Beauclair Hill, facing the Meuse River. The hills in the distance were still under German control on November 11, 1918. The photograph was released by AEP, but the censor date is unknown. It was published in the military activities during World War One.
