An improved purewater filter with hand pump is arranged over the sideboard. incandescent gas lamp of SO c. p. is placed at the center ofthe pantry, and flanked by two torpedo ventilators. The ven-tilation is further assisted by a louvre ventilator, which consistsof a series of vertical vanes so arranged that air may be inducedor extracted at the will of the operator.
