His son Volunteer has tAventy- nine 2:30 trotters to his credit, including the ilhistrious St. Julien, 2:11^. Alexander's Abdallah contributed only six to the 2:30 list, but the six included that matchless star trotter, the invincible and immortal Goldsmith Maid. Dictator is the sire of thirty-two within.
