UNITED STATES - 08-28-2017: Rachel Roberts’ flower stand in front of her house, on Edwards Ferry Road, near downtown Leesburg. For the past five years, Rachel has been growing, arranging, and selling flowers in front of her home with 100% of proceeds going to Loudoun Hunger Relief. She is a longtime volunteer of the food pantry and, five years ago, wanted to come up with ways to raise more money for Loudoun Hunger Relief. She’s become known as Leesburg’s Flower Lady and this year alone has raised nearly $17,000 so far this year. (Photo by Douglas Graham/Loudoun Now)
