A wheellock rifle, Hans Wohlfahrt of Saalfeld, dated 1683 Octagonal barrel with lightly flared muzzle, seven-groove bore in 14 mm calibre. Dovetailed brass sight, rear sight missing. Above chamber stamped lion mark and engraved signature "Hans Wohlfardt 1683 Sallfeltt". Lightly engraved wheel lock with closed wheel cover and spring catch pan cover. Trigger and set trigger. Lightly carved walnut full stock with engraved bone inlays. On cheek depiction of a lying doe. One inlay beside tang and another one at the end of cheek lost.
