Looking out to the North sea across the saltmarsh Lincolnshire England coastal nature reserve of Rimac


The North Sea coastline of Lincolnshire from The Wash to the Humber estuary has stretches of beaches and sand dunes totally devoid of human habitation. Many are recognised as valuable wildlife habitats and granted Reserve status. Ecosystems like this one at Rimac which is well known for its colourful display of Marsh Orchids in early spring, year round birdwatching and sightings of Marsh Harriers. The public have access to a well laid out footpath network in the Reserve and excellent viewing across the extensive Saltmarsh by means of raised lookout points.
