A pretty little plant, suitable either for pot culture or open border, grows about 6 inches high and bears star-shaped flowers of a delicate blue-white; fragrant. 15 cts per dor.; 75 cts. per 100 ; $ per 1000 SPIRAEA OR ASTILBE. {KedJy in Aovtvil'ci.) Queen Alexandra, A beautiful new vnriety, entirely distinct from anything in this line, the color being a soft pink. A strong grower, free-flowering and forces almost as easy as the other sorts. When grown indoors il should be kept cool when flowers are developing, this being neces>ary to biing out the delicate coloring. 50 cts. each; §5 00 per doz.; $40 00 per 100. Gladstone. This grand new variety has been tried by many of the leading growi::rs, who are unanimous in declaring it the finest in existence. The plants form very symmetrical, bushy specimens, and are remarkably fiee-flowering, a single clump producing from 25 to 40 large snow-white trusses; can be forced even easier than the ordinary Japonica. (See cut.) Strong clumps, 20 cts. each ; | per doz.; | per 100. Japonica. A splendid plant for forcing in the green-house or the conservatory, where it produces beautifuj sprays of silvery-white flowers from February till May.
