One of the many Kerala dishes prepared at Philipkutty's farm luxury holiday resort on a man-made island of Kottayam in the Kerala backwaters of Kerala State in southern India. A Kerala traditional dish is a Karimeen Pollichathu served on a banana leaf with two grilled spice covered Pearlspot fishes caught locally. It is cooked with ginger, garlic, green chillies, onion, Chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala and black pepper powder.
