Valley and or- eliids moved slowly last week. The sup- ply of roses is becoming larger each day and the varieties are good. White Killarney is especially good just now, and appears to be plentiful. Columbia, Premier, Hadley, Oi)helia, Ward and Butterfly are esi)ecially good. Cecile Brunner is in fair eroj) and sells well. Potted bulbous stock is ])lentiful and all the stores are loaded up witli it. Various Notes. Charles Sulir is bringing to the mar- ket some of the largest and best j)otte(l jonquils seen this year. His bulbous stock has come along exceiitioiially well this season, and tlie demand for it has been good. His Kaster stock is looking well and promises well for that event. Visitors to the florists' trade last week includi'd Tlieodore T. l-'rver, of the Taiyo Co., New York; Tliomas J. Sulli- van, of Lyndonville, X. Y.; William E. Dav, of Svracuse, X. Y., aiid K. Kendig, of Oswego, N. Y. There is considerable sickness in the city at this time, the m;ijority of cases being influenza and severe colds.
