PACIFIC OCEAN – Lance Cpl. Dean Wetzel engages notional targets while Cpl. Joseph Boehlke spots for him during a live-fire event as part of Composite Training Unit Exercise aboard USS Pearl Harbor (LSD-52), May 8, 2017. The live-fire event provided an opportunity for Marines and Sailors to engage moving targets while aboard ship and enhanced their marksmanship skills. During COMPTUEX, the 15th MEU and America Amphibious Ready Group will exercise a wide range of capabilities, from disaster response and maritime security operations to sea control and complex warfighting.
