"By the banks of the Bow" is one of the largest bronze sculptures in North America. Created by Bob Spaith and Richard Roenisch.


By the Banks of the Bow is a dramatic 1,250 sq-ft. bronze sculpture depicting 15 horses and two cowboys struggling to cross the Bow River. Created by sculptors Bob Spaith and Richard Roenisch to represent western heritage from the past, present and future, the stunning and popular installation is located in front of the agricultural building in the Calgary Stampede Park.
