Coal Flora, page 216, plate 51, fig. 1, a fine species closely related to P. latifolia and P. acuta^ of Brongniart, and to P. nervofa^ Brongt., but diff'er- ing from all three by its large leaflets ; found m the Alabama low coal at Helena.—Recognized doubtfully by Lacoe in Koch's collections (July, 1889), at the Tipton Run mines, Blair Co.
