It is distinctly understood, however, that the certificate will be given for attainment in skill rather than for length of service COURSE OF INSTRUCTIONEach carpentry student has a bench containing avery complete kit of tools, the use and care ofwhich he is carefully taught by exercises in plan-ing, nailing, boring, sawing, glueing, making joints, etc. When acertain proficiency is reached, a house or barn is erected either in- Carpentry.
