Heriberto Navarro, the supply chief of Headquarters and Service Company, 3rd Transportation Support Battalion, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, was awarded III Marine Expeditionary Force’s Noncommissioned Officer of the Year at Camp Foster, Okinawa, Japan, Feb. 8, 2018. Navarro was honored as III MEF’s NCO of the Year for being exemplary in his duties, which included managing roughly $250,000 worth of inventory and equipment during Korean Marine Exchange Program , as well as his performance as 3rd TSB’s color sergeant and his daily demonstration of the Marine Corps' core values.
