Chrysanthemum, Golden Wedding.—The grandest yellow ever offered. This fine variety swept everything before it at the New York and Philadelphia shows. In color it is a deep, bright golden of shining texture, is very large in size, the petals are both long and broad, and channeled lengthwise. This grand white sport from Louis Boehmer was well received, having many admirers at the shows. Imagine plants completely studded with balls of flowers one foot or more in circumfer- ence, whose petals curve gracefully inward, and which in turn are dotted with a peculiar or hairy, plume-like growth— the whole resembling more than anything else masses of snow-white Ostrich Plumes.
