Fisher Holmes.—A very beautiful and valuable rose resembling General Jacqueminot, but fuller and a more constant bloomer ; dark rich scarlet passing to a deep velvet maroon. Francois Levet.—Splendid rose; flower- ing freely and very full; soft china pink, delicately shaded with carmine and blush. General Jacqueminot.—Bright shining crimson, very rich and velvety; ex- ceedingly brilliant and handsome ; makes magnificent buds, and is highly esteemed as one of the best and most desirable for open ground, and also for forcing. Her Majesty.—Originated in England and named in honor of the Queen. It is one of the most beautiful Hybrid Perpetual roses ever grown; blossoms large and perfectly double; color a lovely pink passing to clear flesh, elegantly tinged and shaded with clear rose : plant is a strong grower and entirely hardy. John Hopper.—One of the most reliable and satisfactory Hybrid Perpetual roses ; flowers are large, regular and very full; color a brilliant rose changing to bright glowing and pink, a profuse bloomer.
