A row of hanging flags and paintings on the walls at the Master Builder's House Hotel where shipbuilder, Henry Adams resided with his family. The hotel is in Buckler’s Hard village within the Beaulieu Estate in the New Forest National Park of Hampshire in Britain. Buckler's Hard, has a rich history in shipbuilding for the navy during the reign of King George 111. Henry Adams was in charge of building twenty-six warships including three of them: Swiftsure, Euryalus and Agamemnon which took part in the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805. Lord Nelson served for a while on Agamemnon and lost his right eye during the siege of Calvi in Corsica, a French-ruled island in the Mediterranean Sea. Another ship built in the same yard was the Scorpion, a 14-gun vessel that took part in the famous expedition carrying troops to Quebec in Canada under General James Wolfe.
