The walls are of flint rubble with stone dressings ; the roofs are tiled. In the north wall of the chancel is a narrow window of the nth century, with deeply splayed jambs both inside and outside ; it is round-arched, but a slight point has been given to the outer arch at some later period. The other windows of the chancel are all modern lancets. The doorway to the vestry in the north wall has a massive 15th-century oak if three stages with an embattled the octagonal timber spire is modern.
