MEDITERRANEAN SEA (June 27, 2018) Logistics Specialist 3rd Class Rashad Davis inventories supplies in a storeroom aboard the guided-missile destroyer USS Forrest Sherman (DDG 98). Forrest Sherman is underway for a scheduled deployment as part of the Harry S. Truman Carrier Strike Group. With Harry S. Truman as the flagship, deploying strike group assets include staffs, ships and aircraft of Carrier Strike Group (CSG) 8, Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 28 and Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 1; as well as the Sachen-class German navy frigate FGS Hessen (F 221).
