GMB Union held a demonstration outside the Guardian Sustainability Awards in London. They were protesting against alleged blacklisting of union representatives by construction firm Carillion at the Great Western Hospital in Swindon. They also accus ethe firm of "persistently failing to effectively address bullying and racial abuse of emplayees" and of ignoring "extortion and shake-downs against employees and disciplining whistle-blowers".
