A steeple and clock tower at Saint Ignatius College Prep in Chicago. St. Ignatius is a private, coeducational Jesuit high school located on the near west side of the city on Roosevelt Road. The school was founded in Chicago in 1869 with the main school structure built between 1866-1874 with a northwest addition added in 1895. The buildings are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The school and church were survivors of the Great Chicago Fire in 1871.
