Camel At Great White Rann, Kutch


Kutch is a large district in North-West Gujarat, with a population of only 2 million. It is inhabited by a variety of ethnic groups who have managed to preserve their traditions. The Great Rann of Kutch, is a seasonal salt marsh located in the Thar Desert in the Kutch District of Gujarat, India and the Sindh province ofPakistan. It is about 7,505 square kilometres in size and is reputed to be the largest salt desert in the world. This area is inhabited by the Kutchi people.
