The contractor for therock excavation from the site of the flightlocks will, under his contract, be obligedto crush a sufficient quantity of the goodrock taken from his excavation to supplyall the crushed stone required for makingall the concrete for the different locks andstructures. The lock walls will be 82 ft. above thetop of the gate sills, and including the ne-cessary foundation work required below thislevel two of the locks will have walls 100ft. high.
