ACAXTHUS (Bear's ) Mollis Latifolius. A handsome decorative plant of stately effect, with deeply-toothed, heart-shaped leaves, 2 feet long by 1 foot vpide, either for planting as single specimens on the lawn or in the border, or for grouping with other plants for sub-tropical effect, producing 3 feet high spikes of curious rose-colored flowers during August and September. The ornamentation of the Corinthian columns is said to have been suggested by the leaf of this plant. 35 cts. each; $ per doz. ACONITUm (Monkshood or Helmet Flower) Aconites form bushy clumps, and are invaluable for planting un- der trees or in shady or semi-shady positions. Fischeri. A dwarf variety growing 18 inches high, with very large, pale blue flowers in September and October. Sparks' Variety.
