PACIFIC OCEAN (Nov. 9, 2016) – Coast Guard Lt. Charles Cassiano, left, and Marine Enforcement Specialist 3rd Class Mark Davis, right, brief Sailors aboard Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Sampson (DDG 102) on procedures for the Oceania Maritime Security Initiative (OMSI). Sampson will report to 3rd Fleet, headquartered in San Diego, while deployed to the Western Pacific as part of the Pacific Fleet-led initiative to extend the command and control functions of 3rd Fleet into the region.
