GREAT LAKES, Ill. (September 27, 2022) – Capt. Frank Brown, deputy commander of operations, Naval Service Training Command (NSTC), presents Senior Chief Boatswain’s Mate Fredrika Phillips with an end of tour Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal outside the USS North Caroline Transient Barracks on Naval Station Great Lakes here, Sept. 27. The medals were presented to several reserve Sailors who were completing their annual active duty time leading, mentoring and taking care of transient Sailors waiting for their next duty assignment orders.
