Newark-On-Trent, Nottinghamshire, February, 2015. Mr Lewis Renshaw, who served with the Royal Artillery in the second world war, died after battling injuries sustained in a car crash. Mr Renshaw, of Newark, was an anti-aircraft gunner during the Battle of Britain. He went on to serve in the aborted Norway campaign and escaped in a rowing boat.
