It was present at 36 percent of the stations sampled by van Veen grab. The greatest biomass occurred at Stations 29, 47, 64, and 71 (Table 66-4). Nuculana fossa was associated v^rith sediment types ranging from fine sand to medium silt (; Tables 66-1 and 66-2, Figs. 66-2 to 66-6, 66-10, and 66-11, Table 66-5).
