Statue entitled "The Future"


Architect John Russel Pope placed four monumental statues around the National Archives. This Statue entitled "The Future" was designed by Robert I. Aitken and carved by the Piccirilli Brothers Company from 1933-1935. The statement on the statue is "What's Past is Prologue."
