The Shaw Brigade sculpture, by Augustus Saint-Gaudens, in the Saint-Gaudens National Historic Site in Cornish NH. The story of the unit was depicted in the 1989 Academy Award winning film Glory. The film honored the combat role that African-Americans played in the Civil War.
