The Indonesian Bonsai Fan Association, held the "Buitenzorg Bonsai Festival" at Bogor City Square, from 11 to 23 July 2022. This national level Bonsai contest and exhibition is an event to raise the certified bonsai class. Indonesia is in the top three countries with the largest and best quality bonsai communities, in addition to Japan and China. Indonesian Bonsai is unique and is in great demand by countries in Europe. From that, the export potential of Indonesia's bonsai plants is quite large and continues to increase in line with the demands of trading partner countries with average exports per year ranging from 6,000 to 8,000 trees
