CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas (Aug. 28, 2017) Cmdr. Anant Patel, Officer In Charge of the Contingency Engineering Response Teams (CERT) and Cmdr. Kevin Norton, the Public Works Officer at Naval Air Station Corpus Christi, speak to both the CERT and Naval Facilities Engineering Command Damage Assessment Team (DAT) during a planning session on how to observe and record damage caused to the base by Hurricane Harvey. The teams are on board to assess damage to the installation and to develop, plan and oversee restoration of base facilities affected by the hurricane.
