A 1901 courtroom sketch of former Royal Marine George H Parker accused of killing wealthy farmer William Pearson & seriously wounding Mrs Rhoda King , passengers in a railway carriage (The Railway murderer). He was found guilty and hung on the 19 March 1901 in Wandsworth by James and Thomas Billington. It took place in a LSWR 3rd class smoking compartment, with lavatory and communicating door
