Vertical perspective image of the Avon river and rock pool in Walyunga National Park in the hills outside of the Western Australian capital city of Perth. Walyunga National park is an area of significance to Aboriginal people and artifacts dating back many thousands of years have been found in the park. In this respect Walyunga was an ancient meeting place of tribes from thousands of kilometres apart - the meeting area has revealed countless artifacts. Walyunga is popular today with bush walkers, while canoeists revel in the rapids of the Avon river during winter and spring.
