About 300 people took part in a rally and protest outside Governor Andrew Cuomo's office at 633 Third Avenue in New York City. The protest was organized by Professional Staff Congress/CUNY. They are calling for a State budget that increases--rather than decreases--funding for CUNY, and for the funds needed to settle the PSC contract, they have been 6 years without one, a group of about 30 took part in a die-in on the sidewalk outside the Governor's office bring things to a stand still, all of those taking part in the die-in were arrested.
