The plan of development is in accordance with the gen-eral scheme of the Water Power Branch of the DominionGovernment, and forms the principal link in a chain. ofpotential developments pxtending from Lake of the Woodsto Hudsons Bay, aggregating several million horsepower. The contractors for this work are Fraser-Brace Lim-ited, who have successfully completed other large construc-. tion jobs of a similar nature, including the large dam forthe International Nickel Company at Turbine, Out., the LaLoutre storage dam for the Quebec Government, the papermill, dam and power house for Price Bros, at Chicoutimi,Que., and the Cedars Rapids Manufacturing and Power(.ompanys development on the St. Lawrence River. In theexecution of the above works the contractors have gatheredtogether a very efficient organization which has been trans-ferred to Great Falls, together with their complete construc-tion plant, thus ensuring the successful construction of theGreat Falls development. Sir .\ugustus Nanton is iiresident of the ManitobaPower Company Limited and Mr. .\. W. McLimont is vice-president and general , under whose direction allof the work is being carried on by a loyal and efficient en-gineering and construction force. Mr. Julian C.
