Prussian blue, cobalt green, terre verte, viridian,gamboge, raw and burnt sienna, madder brown, Indianyellow, and golden ochre are among some of the mostuseful. If solid colours be used they should be mixedwith varnish and floated on freely, and not be touchedafter they have begun to set.
