A Scythian helmet, 5th century Bronze Greek helmet, formerly a Corinthian or Attic type, reworked by the Scythians. Now a simple, helmet of the type favoured by the Scythians with two half eye cutouts and the base of the nose-guard with a hole. On each side two holes for hanging cheek pieces or attaching chinstraps. Height cm. Weight 553 g. Dark green to light green patina with encrusted dirt.
